Returns & Exchanges

All clothing and accessories produced by SHINYGAL, are carefully made by hand in our atelier to ensure the best possible quality. Each piece is made to order and as a result of this we are unable to offer a refund.

You are allowed to return products to get them resized. All return delivery costs must be covered by the customer. If you are unsure about sizing please email service@shinygal.com before or after placing an order. We offer a complimentary made to measure service and we encourage customers to contact us with their requirements.

If you insist to have the money back, we'll have to keep 30% of the product price and shipping charge is not refundable.

If a product is deemed faulty or damaged during delivery you must inform us in writing, within seven working days of delivery of your item(s). Please email service@shinygal.com before returning any products. In the rare case of any item being faulty upon delivery a product exchange will be offered. If you do not inform us within 7 days (in writing) we shall no longer bear liability to you for the products.

Please do not return any products to us before informing us first and confirming return customs documents. Products must be returned to us in the original condition and in the original packaging. Please be aware that the shipment costs to send back goods to us cannot be refunded if not agreed prior from us in writing. It is important that you use a courier or registered post to send back goods. We are not responsible for any damage to items you send back to us. Please forward us your package tracking number to prevent from packages getting lost or delayed. Items lost in transport will not be compensated if our instructions were not followed.

Items will be inspected upon return and are the sole responsibility of the buyer until items arrive at our office. Please to care to package your return to prevent any damage to the item and its original packaging.

Does ShinyGal offer Refunds? 

Refunds are issued to the original form of payment used on an order in the event that your order: 
 

  • Is canceled 
  • One or more of your items sold out since your order was processed
  • You received a damaged, defective or incorrect item
  • Clearance items are not returnable

 

Refunds can take up to 2-5 business days to clear and 7-10 business days for the amount to post to your account, depending on your financial institution. If you used an E-Gift Card to purchase your item(s), your funds will be refunded back to your E-Gift Card. Please reuse the E-Gift Card on your next purchase.

 

I want to return items from my order, can I get a refund? 

Most refunds are issued in the form of an E-Gift Card (or store credit) to be used on future purchases. E-Gift Cards never expire and can be treated just like cash on our online store!

I received a partial refund after placing my order, what is this for? 

One or more of your items may have sold out since your order was processed.


  What if I used a Gift Card to pay for all or part of my order and there were Out of Stock item(s)?

The amount used from the E-Gift Card to pay all or part of your cancelled order will go back to the E-Gift Card that was used and can be used on your next purchase.

 

What is your Return Policy for Online Purchases?

How long do I have to return my item? 

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return your item. 

 

What are Final Sale Items?

All items in super sale collection are considered Final Sale, non-returnable and cannot be returned for Store Credit.

 

 I want to do an exchange, what do I do?

If you are going to exchange for another item or size, firstly please contact ShinyGal by email at service@shinygal.com. For the exchange, we’ll charge additional shipping fees (depend on the weight of the item) and some other fees might occur for large sizes.

 

Do you offer Prepaid Return Labels? 
With limited exceptions, we do not provide prepaid return labels; you are responsible for covering shipping costs to return.

 

What other details do I need to know about ShinyGal’s Online Return Policy? 

  • Items must be unworn, show no signs of wear, and returned in their original packaging, unwashed, and have original tags attached.
  • Items must be free of stains, makeup, deodorant, or wear.
  • All returns must include an order packing slip or return invoice from Online Return Portal that clearly indicates which items are being returned. If this is not filled out correctly, your return may experience issues in processing.
  • When sending back items from multiple orders, you must fill out an order packing slip for each applicable order.
  • All returns are refunded via store credit in the form of a ShinyGal E-Gift Card.
  • We are not liable for any return packages that may become lost or stolen in-transit. Please keep your proof of postage and/or return tracking number when shipping back your returns.
  • Returns are processed within 5-7 business days after your item(s) are delivered to us.
  • Damaged, defective, or incorrect items must be reported within 7 days of delivery. 
  • Return drop-offs are not accepted at our DC or corporate office.
